Jaipur Blue Pottery has been made by hand in this family since 1995. What follows is our record of it — plainly told, without decoration.
1995
The Beginning
Our grandfather, Late Shri Ram Bahal Prajapat (राम बहाल प्रजापत), began the pottery journey from a rented space.
He specialised in body moulding and structure making. Late Shri Ramjeet Prajapat contributed design and colouring.
2012
A Difficult Loss
The family lost Late Shri Ramjeet Prajapat due to a sudden cardiac event.
The family chose to continue the craft.
2013
A New Identity
SAGAR BLUE ART POTTERY was established, named after nephew Sagar.
Today
Hands Still at the Wheel
The family continues handmade pottery and has expanded into learning and training experiences. Today, Rakesh Prajapat serves as Proprietor and Mukesh Prajapat as Manager, carrying the tradition forward.
